St Ignatius Centre (SIC) is a charitable community benefit society


As a community benefit society, we serve the broader interests of the community, in contrast to co-operative societies that serve the interests of members only.

Owned and controlled by its Members on a fair and equitable basis.

Membership is open to members of the public who are age 16 and above. Membership is also open to organisations and and corporate bodies.

All those wishing to become a Member must support the objects of the Society and complete an application for membership which shall includean application for at least one share in the Society.

All Members agree to participate in general meetings and take an active interest in theoperation and development of the Society and its business.


The Board

Our Board is currently made-up of 10 directors. Each board member brings a unique set of skills and experience.

The Centre

The Centre complex comprises the former St Ignatius Rectory and St Ignatius of Antioch former Church (Grade II Listed).

Community Share Offer

St Ignatius Centre shares offer opens July 8, 2019 and closes on September 30, 2019. The minimum shareholding is £100.

The Centre is one of few surviving works of Alfred Darbyshire (1839-1908) of regional and national importance that played prominent role in WWI and WWII memorial history.
